Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-04-22

1. What Sheet2Classroom does

Sheet2Classroom is a free tool that lets teachers push grades from Google Sheets into Google Classroom assignments. It uses Google's OAuth to operate on your behalf — the app never sees your Google password.

Note on naming: when you sign in with Google, the consent screen identifies our app as Gradebook (our OAuth-registered name). Assignments we create in Classroom may also be attributed to Gradebook. The website and product brand are Sheet2Classroom; both names refer to the same service.

2. Your responsibilities

  • You're responsible for the grades you push. Always review the preview and prefer the draft-first push option for any real grading.
  • You agree not to use Sheet2Classroom to violate any law, any Google Terms of Service, or any institutional grading policy.
  • You agree not to attempt to break, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service.

3. Service availability

Sheet2Classroom is provided "as is" and without warranty. We make no guarantees of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. We may change or discontinue the service at any time.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sheet2Classroom and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service — including but not limited to loss of grades, data, reputation, or opportunity.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the landing page.
